About The Position

The position involves planning, ordering, and organizing merchandise within the Kitchen Place Department. The individual will train, coach, and direct all associates working in this area, while also performing production and customer service functions to maximize store sales and profits. Responsibilities

  • Plan, order, and organize merchandise in the Kitchen Place Department.
  • Train, coach, and direct associates in the department.
  • Perform production and customer service functions to maximize sales and profits.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values in all interactions.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels to maximize sales and profits.
  • Responsible for pricing and displaying all merchandise.
  • Merchandise end caps, power wings, mission tables, vignettes, and cross merchandising.
  • Maintain proper signage, tags, and promotional materials.
  • Respond to customer and associate comments, complaints, and requests.
  • Use the Magic System for ordering and replenishment of merchandise.
  • Coach and train associates in merchandising techniques and customer service.
  • Implement company programs and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in accordance with company policies.
  • Execute the Marketplace Sales Plan 100 percent.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports, complete performance reviews.
