Amy’s is committed to cooking authentic great tasting food with high quality, meticulously sourced organic ingredients and making them convenient for consumers.      We are   seeking   a detail-oriented and proactive intern to join the Kitchen Operations Team this summer. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience while supporting continuous improvement efforts by assisting with Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) related to top production aliases and contributing to batch sheet updates. This role will work cross-functionally with operations and quality teams to analyze issues, document findings, and help improve process accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

  • Clear written communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams/SharePoint).
  • Interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional plant teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Bilingual Required: English and Spanish.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data,   establish   facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for recurring production or system aliases.
  • Gather and review production data to support issue investigations.
  • Document findings and support corrective action tracking.
  • Update and revise batch sheets to reflect process improvements or corrections.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and other plant teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.
