About The Position

We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to join our team at New Horizon Academy! Requirements

• Must be able to work full-time (Monday-Friday)
• Comfortable working with food allergies/restrictions
• Positive work ethic and team-centered attitude
• Previous kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
• Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by state department guidelines
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations
• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role

Responsibilities

• Manage kitchen operations and staff
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Plan and prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions
• Supervise kitchen staff and provide training
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
