About The Position

This is not your typical kitchen role—you’re running the show. As Kitchen Manager for our food truck, you’ll take ownership of a fast-moving, high-energy operation where quality, speed, and teamwork matter. You’ll have the autonomy to lead your team, manage your kitchen, and create a consistently great food experience for guests wherever we go. If you like variety, leadership, and being at the center of the action, this role delivers.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of kitchen leadership experience (Kitchen Manager, Lead Line Cook, or similar)
• Strong ability to lead a small team in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized with solid time management skills
• Comfortable working in a compact, mobile kitchen environment
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt on the fly
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours), work in heat, and lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with food truck movement/setup is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead daily food truck kitchen operations from prep to service
• Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment
• Coordinate logistics for food truck service (setup, breakdown, mobility)
• Partner with operations leadership on menu execution and improvements
• Jump in wherever needed—this is a hands-on leadership role
