About The Position
Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Kitchen Manager for our contemporary assisted living community, Calyx Living of Wakefield. We are located in beautiful Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh. Calyx is looking to hire NOW a Kitchen Manager who will be responsible for creating an exceptional and memorable dining experience to our seniors. This position will be responsible for the coordination of staff schedules, managing the purchasing, preparing and serving of food, and leading all aspects of the dining department.
Requirements
- Demonstrates a passion to work with the senior population
- Cook experience a must!
- Experience with managing teams
- ServeSafe Certification
- Understanding of therapeutic diets
- Ability to work 45-50 hours per week, weekends and a flexible work schedule
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- 2 years or more of experience
- creative with strong cooking and people skills
- interested in being a Kitchen Manager for a brand new, contemporary assisted living community
