What You’ll Do Oversees daily operations of the Nutritional Services Department at Care Center. Ensures nutritional care for residents, patients, staff, and visitors. Manages department budget, staff schedules, and approves time cards via Kronos. Handles ordering supplies, inventory control, and menu development. Responsible for staff training, supervision, and conducting monthly meetings. Trains staff on state survey compliance and collaborates with other departments and leadership. Participates in leadership meetings and contributes to departmental improvements and projects. Performs various additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; secondary education in culinary arts preferred.
- Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler Certification from an ANSI accredited program within one month of hire.
- Minimum five years of relevant work experience preferred, ideally in a similar role.
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
- Managerial experience preferred.
