The responsibility of our Kitchen Manager is to oversee the production of the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures. Role Summary: Managers are the restaurant leaders who ensure excellence in all areas. They have an expert knowledge of their area as well as an advanced knowledge of every area in the store. They actively seek to take initiative in improving their area of responsibility, utilizing all available resources. They are tasked with always having a total store focus, seeking to lead the team to delivering quality food and service at all times. Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who invest in the future of their Team Members and give back to their communities.

Requirements

  • Exemplify Core Values of the Store
  • 2 years of relevant Management Experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods
  • Proven ability to lead in quick paced environments as part of a team
  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently
  • Be able to follow Food Safety and cleanliness guidelines
  • Be able to maintain proper quality parameters

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong working relationships with other Managers and Directors in pursuit of excellence in operations and financial stewardship
  • Be the primary driver of Great Food, Fast & Accurate Service, Genuine Hospitality and departmental LEAN strategy.
  • Supervision of team members to include scheduling and performance management
  • Manage, track, and communicate Team Member discipline as necessary
  • Prepare and execute Team Member assessments as required
  • Oversee completion of goals.
  • Motivating team members during demanding service periods
  • Ensure coordination between front and back leaders
  • Assumes responsibility of opening and closing the store
  • Responds to customer concerns
  • Other duties as required
