About The Position

As a Kitchen Manager you will manage all back‑of‑house operations, ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently, safely, and to the restaurant’s quality standards. This role includes supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, maintaining food safety protocols, controlling costs, and ensuring consistent execution of all menu items.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least three (3) years of related kitchen management experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Maintain high standards for food preparation, presentation, and consistency.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained; report repairs as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate kitchen staff based on business needs.
  • Hire, train, and supervise line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, and other BOH staff.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action when needed.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture.
  • Conduct pre‑shift meetings to communicate specials, menu changes, or safety updates.
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and stocking of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Track inventory levels and reduce waste through proper portioning and storage.
