About The Position

We're hiring a Kitchen Manager for Ian's Pizza Verona to help lead our team, learn new skills, and have fun while earning $21.50/hour+ and benefits. Minimum Guarantee of $21.50/hour: Department Managers average $21.50-$24.50/hour with tips. Work above 40 hours a week is paid as overtime. Your Impact As the Kitchen Manager, you're the commander of the cooks! Keeping the energy high, the service smooth, and the vibe unmistakably Ian's. You'll work with the GM and AGM to make sure your kitchen crew has the training, tools, and support they need to crush every shift. A big part of your gig is training and developing your team. You'll be the lead trainer for the kitchen: showing staff the ropes, giving helpful feedback, and running quarterly reviews. There's also the behind-the-scenes work: meetings, responding to messages, tackling special projects, and working with leadership to make your department run like a well-oiled machine.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry. Specific experience in kitchen is required.

  • Must complete a food safety certification course within 6 months.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods. To bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs. To use ovens, knives, and other equipment of the business.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant locations for a variety of shift times, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a major plus!
