About The Position

The Nutrition Group has an open position of Kitchen Manager for School Food Service at Strath Haven High School. This position entails overseeing food production and staff training at a large K-12 School Cafeteria Operation. The position is Monday-Friday 5:30 am-1:30 pm.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years staff management
• Food Service Experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with reading recipes and basic math conversions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks

Responsibilities

• Understanding National School Breakfast Program
• Understanding National School Lunch Program
• Food Preparation on a large production scale
• Utilizing Kitchen Equipment
• Meeting Company’s Expectations
• Understand Company’s Food Concepts
• Daily Production Records and Paperwork
• Facilitate the execution of catered events as needed
• Work with regional chefs to develop and implement recipes
• Food Production and Recipes Utilization
• Understanding Functions of Kitchen Equipment
