About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in accordance with established recipes and procedures.
  • Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety in the restaurant.
  • Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient food item ticket times.
  • Managing performance of Back of House employees, including conducting evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
  • Assisting in the development of key employees and providing daily feedback on performance.
  • Conducting formal line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety in the kitchen.
  • Overseeing the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
  • Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs.
  • Setting hours and weekly schedules for Back of House employees and assigning tasks.
  • Training Back of House employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations for Back of House employees.
  • Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values.
