About The Position

The Gummy Land Machine Operator at T.H.C. is responsible for operating and maintaining food manufacturing machinery within the Gummy Land production process. This role ensures the safe operation of equipment, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with food safety regulations. The operator will load ingredients, manage machine changeovers, and maintain accurate production records while following strict safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-3 years machine operating experience, preferably within a food manufacturing setting.
• Ability to utilize a computer-based system to report and log information with 100% accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.
• Capacity to work beyond your comfort level and desire to learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner.

Nice To Haves

• Basic math skills
• Machining experience
• Manufacturing knowledge
• Understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.

Responsibilities

• Control various food manufacturing machinery to perform vital functions within the Gummy Land production process.
• Oversee and maintain equipment to ensure safe operations and product quality.
• Load ingredients into machines according to specifications to produce high-value recipes.
• Changeover and wash out machinery between jobs.
• Utilize data collection systems to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Requisition supplies and maintain production records and logs.
• Ensure correct entries into facilities software and data management systems.
• Ensure products produced meet customer and quality requirements.
• Adhere to strict allergen guidelines and detailed wash requirements.
• Maintain a clean work area and participate in housekeeping throughout the facility.
