About The Position

As a Kitchen Leader at Chipotle, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our food is not only delicious but also prepared with the utmost care and attention to quality. Your responsibilities will include learning how to prepare various dishes, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables, all while adhering to Chipotle's high standards for food safety and quality. You will be responsible for ordering food supplies and training other team members to become future kitchen managers, fostering a culture of growth and development within the kitchen team. In this position, you will ensure that the kitchen is clean, organized, and well-stocked, and that all equipment is properly maintained. You will serve as a role model for Crew members, guiding them in their development and helping them learn the skills necessary to advance in their careers. Your role will also involve promoting teamwork and creating a positive customer experience, as you will be actively engaged in the kitchen operations and supporting your teammates in achieving their goals. The Kitchen Leader position is dynamic and requires you to be on your feet, actively participating in the kitchen's daily operations. You will monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolve any food quality issues, and ensure that all kitchen procedures are followed. Communication with both Crew members and customers is key to ensuring great service and efficiency in the kitchen. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring that all safety guidelines are met and that any equipment malfunctions are addressed promptly.
