Earth Fare Team Members At Earth Fare Our Team Members ensure that our customers’ visit to our store is fulfilling, having had all their questions answered and their shopping needs met. Kitchen Lead Contributions Staff Development: Supports Team Lead in coaching, training, and developing Team Members in the Prepared Foods Department. Maintains a positive and professional work environment. Clearly defines and communicates expectations through punch lists and communication logs. Production: Supervises and participates in the production of in-house prepared foods, ensuring proper presentation and display of high-quality, pre-made items. Maintains consistent quality control standards. Operational Tasks: Responsible for ordering and receiving deliveries; scheduling; reviewing daily and weekly sales and movement reports, shrink reports, and emails; responding accordingly; and conducting monthly department inventory. Merchandising: Develops and maintains an attractive sales floor by implementing Earth Fare merchandising guidelines and standards. Department Conditions: Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization of the department, including all fixtures, storage areas, work stations, freezers, and coolers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in prepared foods, kitchen operations, or food service required; leadership or lead experience preferred
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
  • Strong communication, organization, time management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to coach, train, and positively influence Team Members while maintaining accountability
  • Passion for natural and organic foods and alignment with Earth Fare’s mission and values
