The Fire Suppression Technician performs a broad range of maintenance, repair, and installation support, also incorporating inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of kitchen hood suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers. Requirements
- High School Diploma and two (2) years experience.
- Pre-engineered Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems Permit and Portable Fire Extinguisher Permit preferred
- Drivers License and clean MVR required.
- Microsoft Office, including Work and Excel.
- Pre-employment Drug screen & Clean MVR; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities
- Inspecting and repairing pre-engineered restaurant fire suppression systems.
- Thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer and local fire codes for restaurant fire suppression systems.
- Perform system repairs which includes installation of nozzles and piping and installation, removal or replacement of agent cylinders
- Perform inspection, service, repair and maintenance of wet and dry chemical fire extinguishing systems/portable fire extinguishers.
- Identifying potentially unfavorable site condition that could compromise the performance of mechanical and/or components of the system.
- Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems.
- Maintain proper documentation for all work performed.
