As a Food Service Unit Host, you play a meaningful role in supporting patient recovery by ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and aligned with physician-prescribed diets. You’ll connect directly with patients, helping them navigate menu options, place orders, and feel supported throughout their stay. You’ll review trays for accuracy and quality, document meal intake, and communicate clearly with patients and families about dietary needs. This role also includes preparing light food items, stocking unit pantries, and supporting kitchen operations while maintaining food safety standards. If you enjoy helping others, working as part of a team, and making a real impact each day, this is more than a job, it’s a chance to bring comfort and care to patients when they need it most.
