About The Position

Liberty Fire Solutions is currently seeking a Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician. This position requires the ability to service, inspect and repair kitchen suppression systems and fire extinguishers for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Requirements

• Two or more years' experience inspecting restaurant fire suppression systems.
• Must have knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes
• Valid Driver's License with no major violations and 3 or less points
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs., work overhead and work varied hours including on call, after hours, weekends and holidays
• Has excellent attendance and can handle responsibility
• Must be able to work occasional nights, early morning and weekend shift when needed
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and repairing pre-engineered restaurant fire suppression systems manufactured by ANSUL, Amerex, Pyro Chem, Range Guard and Piranha.
• Thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer and local fire codes for restaurant fire suppression systems.
• Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems.
• Identifying NFPA code and non-conformance issues.
• Maintain proper documentation for all work performed.
• Perform fire marshal tests and inspections.
