About The Position

This is a great opportunity to join our team and we will train you to become a licensed, certified Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician. This position will learn how to inspect, repair and possibly install fire systems in restaurants. We are looking for hard working and hands-on individuals that want to learn a new trade in the fire protection industry. The fire protection industry is in high demand and it can be a long term career with training, certification and years of quality hard work.

Requirements

• A current valid driver's license with 3 or less points is required.
• Three years of licensed driving experience is required.
• Experience using a variety of hand tools such as channel locks and pipe wrenches.
• Willing to work varied hours, nights, early morning and weekend shift when needed.
• Capable and willing to learn and study about the different alarm systems in order to pass tests and become certified.
• Must have excellent attendance and can handle responsibility.
• Must be comfortable working on ladders 6 to 12ft and on lifts.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs
• Ability to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
• Skills to communicate well with customers and explain the work being done and any repairs that are necessary.
• Skills to write well and be very detailed in your write up on service work.
• Must be well organized and be able to keep track of service tickets and process all required documents for each service performed.
