About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Food Expeditor to help keep a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the front of house. You will work in an extremely fast-paced, high-volume environment to get proper orders out fast and efficiently. The ideal candidate for the food expeditor position must be able to multi-task, make decisions quickly, have excellent communication skills, maintain composure in a high-stress environment, and have experience in a restaurant's hectic setting. The goal is to make service faster and better to help enhance our quality and reputation. As a Food Expeditor, you will ensure the efficient flow of orders from the POS to the kitchen, ensuring that orders are being prepared with the correct priority. You will assist in the final preparation of dishes, checking them before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature. Delivering orders promptly is crucial to maintaining fast service, and you will work to eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing. Additionally, you will inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning. You will also be responsible for transferring important information between the kitchen and the wait staff, such as when a customer has a particular request.
