The Kitchen Director is responsible for leading all back-of-house operations, ensuring food safety, quality, speed, and cleanliness. This individual will develop and coach kitchen leaders and team members while maintaining a high-performance, guest-focused culture.

Requirements

2+ years of leadership experience in restaurant or food service management.
Proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, servant-hearted demeanor.
Passion for personal growth and helping others succeed.
Availability to work a full-time schedule including early mornings, nights, and Saturdays (closed Sundays).

Responsibilities

Lead the kitchen team with excellence, modeling operational and leadership standards.
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, inventory management, cleanliness, food quality, food safety, and equipment maintenance.
Train, coach, and mentor team members and leaders to achieve consistent food safety, quality, and speed of service.
Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A brand standards and health department regulations.
Collaborate with other Directors and the Operator to drive business results and achieve strategic goals.
Create and maintain a positive, high-energy work environment focused on care and accountability.
Manage labor and food costs to meet or exceed targets.
Lead by example, working in the kitchen shoulder-to-shoulder with the team when necessary.
