About The Position

Working in conjunction with the Kitchen Manager- a Kitchen Cook is responsible for ood preparation, grilling, salad assembly, and frying, ensuring high-quality meals are delivered efficiently and consistently. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a passion for cooking in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent
  • Proven experience assisting in kitchens
  • Allergen Awareness Certification
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of safe food storage guidelines
  • Ability to use kitchen utensils safely
  • Ability to take direction and work as a team player

Responsibilities

  • Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for daily service.
  • Cook meats, seafood, and vegetables to order, following recipes and safety standards.
  • Prepare and plate salads with accuracy, freshness, and presentation in mind.
  • Operate fryers safely to prepare appetizers, sides, and entrées.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
  • Work closely with cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist with stocking, rotating, and managing kitchen supplies.
