About The Position

The Kitchen Cook is responsible for the preparation/cooking meals. In charge for providing quality customer service, practicing safe food handling procedures, assist with inventory, stocking, product rotation and maintenance. The role is responsible for preparing and assembling quality food products in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Cook is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent;
Valid Food Handlers Card;
Customer Service and retail experience desirable.
Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

Proven track of providing excellent results, shows persistence and perseverance;
Demonstrates care and compassion for people; shows empathy and concern. Able to build and maintain positive team relationships, relates well to diverse people; is approachable;
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment;
Follow recipe specifications and portion food products according to company standards;
Maintains standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions and food safety;
Fills and re-stocks front counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks;
Ensure all prepared food items are weighed, labeled, dated, packaged and rotated according to company standards;
Follows procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellation and all saved recall transactions;
Responsible for personal Cashier Productivity;
Takes food orders in person and by telephone;
All other duties as assigned.
