About The Position
Food House Cook prepares large or small batch recipes, packages products, chops vegetables, or builds retail ready products. They maintain a clean work area and follow personal/food safety guidelines. Same weekly schedule (except for vacation/holiday coverage) is offered.
Requirements
- Available to work 6am mornings and weekends
- Basic knife and prep skills
- Read and follow recipes in English
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Self-motivation / direction
- The ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day, bend, twist, and lift 40# repeatedly.
Nice To Haves
- Professional kitchen experience
- Excellent English reading and Computer abilities a bonus.
- Multilingual a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work with co-workers from various cultural backgrounds
