About The Position

The Bartender at Drury Hotels is responsible for opening and closing the Kitchen+Bar, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the food prep and bar area, and providing excellent service to guests. This role requires a high standard of integrity and hospitality, as well as knowledge of the hotel and local events to assist guests effectively.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• One year of bartending experience required; two or more years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of two years of college preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements.
• Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to operate machines and equipment used, including cash register and POS software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a prep cook or cocktail server.
• Knowledge of local events and attractions.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food prep and bar area.
• Serve and assist guests with a high standard of service and hospitality.
• Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle money, make change, and utilize office machines as needed.
• Obtain all necessary supplies for mixing cocktails and maintain the bar area.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members, addressing any difficult situations professionally.
