About The Position

The Kitchen Associate is a key member of our cannabis-infused product production team. This role is responsible for preparing, dosing, dispensing, bottling, packaging, and quality control for a variety of edible and topical cannabis products. Your role in caring for our products: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

  • High School degree/GED preferred
  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age
  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check
  • Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions
  • This role will ask that you sit, walk, bend, and reach throughout your entire shift
  • There may be days where you stand the entire day, sit the entire day, etc
  • Please be flexible as needs will change
  • This role is similar to an assembly line in that it will be completing repetitive tasks throughout the day
  • You will be asked to carry loads of up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day
  • This position requires arm extending, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small consumable items
  • As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday
  • Employees are to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants

Responsibilities

  • Operating machinery including candy packaging , candy depositor, and capsule bottler machine
  • Prepping ingredients required for topical and edible products
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Cleaning, organizing, Q uality Control
  • Dispensing topicals into appropriate containers
  • Dispensing edibles using semi-automatic dispenser
  • Counting, topping, sanding, or otherwise further processing edible products
  • Hand packaging , sealing , and labeling of infused products
  • Maintaining food safety standards
  • Performing inventory counts
  • Other duties as assigned
