About The Position

The Kitchen Associate will work to assist the kitchen team to meet goals and ensure product quality for a variety of different prepared food items.

Requirements

• Kitchen experience recommended
• Ability to work with little direct supervision yet understand when to elevate issues and concerns
• Perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be 18 yrs or older

Responsibilities

• Fruit and vegetable prep/wash
• Basic knife skills
• Bulk food preparation
• Retrieve product from cooler or designated locations
• Ensure products are prepared to specifications
• Follow safe food handling and personal hygiene.
• Familiar with FIFO procedures
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Adhere to all required tasks and procedures related to safe food handling, preparation, production
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Flexible schedule to work days, evenings and weekends
• Environmental exposure
• Cold conditions (40 degrees or below inside at all times)
