About The Position

The Kitchen Associate plays a vital role in Enmarket's food and beverage services, supporting the store management team to achieve operational, sales, and profitability goals. This position focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in food service areas, ensuring food quality, and providing excellent customer service. The Kitchen Associate is responsible for food preparation, customer interactions, and various store-level tasks, all while adhering to safe food handling procedures.

Requirements

• Must have a customer-centric, friendly, service attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) is required.
• Ability to stoop, bend, stretch, reach, stack, and lift inventory weighing up to 40 pounds to stock, inventory, and sell merchandise and keep the store clean.
• Ability to hear, understand, and respond to requests and to communicate information clearly using the English language.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be able to cooperate and get along with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Provide a quick and outstanding experience for all customers.
• Respond to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Engage each customer genuinely and thank them for their business.
• Prepare food orders, including conducting a quality check to ensure customers' orders are correct.
• Maintain high standards of food service cleanliness and sanitation, food quality, and food and equipment safety by following appropriate policies and procedures.
• Ensure all food service areas are adequately stocked throughout the shift.
• Assist in maintaining inventory records and communicate needs to the Manager.
• Follow the correct vendor check-in procedures as defined in the operations manual and trained by Manager.
• Monitor and log refrigerator temperatures every 3 hours and report any issues to the Manager.
• Complete all shift duties and reports accurately, neatly, and timely.
• Responsible for following all company policies, rules, and procedures.
• Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation with customers and fellow employees.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities needed to accommodate store operational needs.
