Benefits of the Kitchen Assistant Monday - Friday, 8a - 430p Competitive Pay Comprehensive Benefits 401k PTO Paid Holidays Off Responsibilities Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant As part of this exciting expansion, Senior LIFE seeks a hardworking, dedicated and compassionate Member Assistant who, in conjunction with the Kitchen Manager, will prepare meals and assist members with eating and cleanup. As a core member of the kitchen staff, the Member Assistant will have many important responsibilities including: Assisting in meal preparation and service Setting tables, setting up and serving trays, and pouring beverages Assisting during meal times, as needed, and visiting members in dining areas Cleaning up dining, dietary and day rooms before and after meal services Ensuring safe, responsible use of food preparation and service equipment, plus storage after use Sanitizing work spaces following meal preparation Qualifications Requirements of the Kitchen Assistant Must have a high school diploma or GED Must have one year's experience working specifically in a healthcare facility EOE
