Requirements

• Design expertise: 3+ years of kitchen and bath design experience with demonstrated proficiency in CAD software (20/20, Chief Architect, or similar platforms), including the ability to showcase your design portfolio
• Product knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of cabinetry systems, countertop materials, plumbing fixtures, and decorative hardware, with the ability to specify products for residential projects confidently
• Project management skills: Proven track record managing multiple kitchen and bath projects simultaneously from concept through installation, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Customer first mindset: Genuine passion for helping customers create their dream spaces, with a strong commitment to doing the right thing and exceeding expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Relationship builder: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with homeowners, trade professionals, and industry partners, with a focus on long-term collaboration
• Communication excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present design concepts, explain technical specifications, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders throughout complex projects

Responsibilities

• Create compelling and functional designs: Use 20/20 to develop detailed kitchen and bath designs, space plans, and product specifications that bring customer visions to life while meeting functional requirements and budget parameters
• Conduct comprehensive consultations: Meet with homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors to understand their project scope, design preferences, budget constraints, and timelines, offering expert recommendations on cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and hardware
• Develop detailed project proposals: Generate quotes and proposals for kitchen and bath projects ranging from single vanity installations to complete whole-house renovations, ensuring all specifications and pricing are clearly communicated
• Manage projects from design to installation: Oversee the entire customer journey, coordinating with vendors, tracking orders, communicating with installers, and ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction throughout the install process
• Build and cultivate trade relationships: Develop strong partnerships with builders, remodelers, interior designers, and architects to create a foundation of recurring business and referrals, serving as their trusted kitchen and bath expert
• Maintain product expertise: Stay current on the latest trends in kitchen and bath design, product innovations, and industry best practices to offer informed, cutting-edge advice to customers
• Achieve sales targets: Strive to meet or exceed sales goals through effective design presentations, relationship building, and exceptional customer service that generates repeat business and referrals
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with our flooring sales team, customer care, finance, warehouse, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and integrated design solutions across product categories
