About The Position

Primary Objective: Provide excellent customer service while working directly with customers and patrons by greeting them, helping them find what they want or need, and ensuring they are satisfied with their purchase and experience in our store. Essential Functions of Position Qualify client based on client’s wants, needs, desires and investment dollars available Discuss and identify clients design style Create design solutions, plans, quotes and purchase orders Accurately check designs and orders Discuss product details and expectations Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with existing and prospective customers Maintain assigned areas of the store to ensure cleanliness and proper presentation for customers Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Company policies, procedures, and overall mission and vision
  • Knowledge of Sales, construction and design
  • Knowledge of Interior products and cabinetry construction
  • Knowledge of Design software, such as 20/20 design
  • Skilled in Interpersonal communications that allow for effective qualification of prospective clients
  • Skilled in Active listening by giving full attention to what others are saying, asking appropriate questions and not interrupting at inappropriate times
  • Skilled in Efficient problem-solving
  • Skilled in Time management, organization and written communication
  • Skilled in Customer service – manages difficult client/customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, solicits customer feedback to improve service, responds to requests for service and assistance and meets commitments
  • Ability to Build trusting clients relationships and effectively communicate throughout the design/sales process
  • Ability to Read blue prints and field measure
  • Ability to Handle client product questions and walk them through the remodel and new construction process
  • Ability to Prioritize, accurately multi-task and adhere to any deadlines set
  • Ability to Drive and close sales
  • Ability to Keep up with design trends and product updates
  • Ability to Learn in a fast paced and friendly environment
  • BS Degree in interior design or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in kitchen/bath design
  • 5+ years of customer service and sales experience
