About The Position
As a Kitchen Aide, you will support the kitchen team in various tasks. You will help prepare nutritious meals daily, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist in meal preparation. A Kitchen Aide will also assist in food deliveries, clean and organize the kitchen, and wash dishes. You will ensure that food is handled safely and that health and safety standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Must be 17+
- Food Handlers Card
Responsibilities
- Loads, operates, and unloads the dishwashing machine
- Stores clean dishes and utensils in the proper storage area
- Cleans the kitchen area, tables, and equipment
- Disposes of garbage
- Brings food deliveries to storage areas
- Assists in food preparation and loading food trays on the cart
- Maintains a clean storage area
- Assists in moving/lifting bulk food items
- Maintains a clean dining area by wiping down tables, sweeping, and mopping up any spills
- Perform kitchen-related duties as required and assigned
