KinderSprouts Early Literacy GUEST Teacher
About The Position
At Helena Public Schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. The KinderSprouts program is designed to assist qualifying four-year (4) olds in developing early literacy skills through instruction and play. This is a Long-Term Substitute Job at Rossiter Elementary, starting March 16- May 22 2026 Some of what you will do: Cultivate cognitive growth, social skills and curiosity through play, meaningful work and caring relationships. Develop lesson plans and instructional material based on district approved curriculum. Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil. Translate lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Evaluate pupils' academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports. Identify pupil needs and makes appropriate referrals and develops strategies for individual education plans. Establish effective rapport with students. Communicate regularly with parents outside normal classroom day by means of newsletters, notes, phone calls, conferences, etc. May conduct home visits. Who we are looking for: To become part of this dedicated team, you have a Montana teaching certificate with elementary or early childhood endorsement area. The ideal candidate will possess at least a year of successful teaching experience in an elementary classroom and have multiple areas of endorsement. Preference will be given to candidates with preschool experience.

Benefits
- Starting salary range is prorated based on $47,940-$65,338 based on education and experience in addition to a competitive benefit plan.
