Responsibilities: Prepare lesson materials, bulletin board displays, centers, equipment, and demonstrations. Tutor and assist children individually or in small groups to help them with assignments or concepts. Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeteria, school playground, and the gymnasium. Enforce administration policies and rules governing students. Grade homework and tests, and compute and record results, using answer sheets or electronic marking devices when asked by the supervising teacher. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Some experience in clerical or administrative preferred but not required. Energetic person who is experienced in handling a wide range of tasks, able to work in a team environment with other staff or independently. Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including internet and social media literacy. Good judgement skills in handling of confidential, sensitive and critical information; respect and discretion required. Demonstrates ability to problem solve and discern before recommending or deciding on a course of action.
