About The Position

This position is for a Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year. The role requires a current Minnesota teaching license and a successful background check. The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge of the subjects taught and effective teaching methodologies. Key abilities include establishing and maintaining standards of behavior, delivering articulate oral presentations and written reports, and fostering effective working relationships with staff, students, and parents. The teacher is expected to communicate effectively with school staff and parents and exemplify character traits such as compassion, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, and honesty. Specific tasks involve providing a positive learning environment, instructing students individually or in groups, developing and integrating lesson plans, and building positive relationships. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position with 7.5 hours per day, as per contract.

Requirements

Current Minnesota teaching license required
Successful background check required
Thorough knowledge of subject(s) taught
Thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching
Ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior
Ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents
Ability to communicate effectively with school staff and parents
