Job SummarySeton Regional Catholic School is seeking a joyful, dedicated, and faith‑filled Kindergarten Teacher for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about early childhood learning and committed to nurturing the whole child—academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. The ideal candidate creates a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment where young learners feel supported and inspired to grow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field
  • Valid Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working with early learners preferred
  • Strong classroom‑management skills and a nurturing, patient approach
  • Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the faith formation of students
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with school curriculum and Catholic educational standards
  • Foster a positive, faith‑centered classroom culture that encourages curiosity, kindness, and a love of learning
  • Integrate Catholic values, prayer, and faith experiences into daily instruction and classroom life
  • Assess student progress using a variety of tools and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and families
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians to support student growth and strengthen the school‑home partnership
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of young students
  • Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and documentation in accordance with school and Archdiocesan guidelines
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and faith‑formation opportunities as part of the school community
  • Uphold and model the mission, values, and expectations of Seton Regional Catholic School
