Other Duties Include, But are not limited to: Evaluating students academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, and preparing progress reports Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress Identifying student needs and cooperating with the Subject Experts or other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity Substitute/duty coverage as needed Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day Occasionally represent BASIS Ed Texas at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours
Requirements
- Eligible to work in Texas Public Schools.
- A Bachelors degree in Education or related subject.
- Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through TEA.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an elementary educator.
- Masters degree in Education or related subject.
