Heritage Christian Academy, a growing K-12 Christian school in the Kansas City metro area, is seeking qualified candidates for an elementary position. Heritage provides a Christ-centered education with academic excellence within a caring Christian community on two campuses in South Johnson County. Ideal candidates will have: A passion for education and the ability to integrate biblical values into classroom management and instruction Effective communication and interpersonal skills Strong classroom management abilities Adaptability and flexibility to handle diverse teaching environments and student needs A collaborative mindset to engage positively with faculty and staff Problem-solving skills rooted in Christian faith Proficiency with basic educational technology Compassion and patience, inspired by Christian love and empathy for kindergarten students Commitment to ongoing professional development Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver lessons clearly and effectively Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and positive learning environment Accurately record attendance and complete required daily documentation Communicate proactively and collaboratively with administrators, teachers, and staff as needed Participate in required professional development or training sessions as provided Fulfill other duties as assigned by school administration Outcomes: Positive student engagement and classroom participation A respectful, safe, and supportive learning environment Accurate and timely completion of administrative documentation Consistent, collaborative communication with faculty, staff, and administration
