About The Position
As a Kinaxis Application Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between IT delivery and Supply Chain operations, ensuring that Kinaxis technologies are effectively utilized to enhance business processes. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the entire lifecycle of supply chain IT applications, which includes implementation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of application design, the as-built configuration, and the operational support model, which includes creating and maintaining run books that cover deployment and support standards. In this role, you will monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and reliability. You will also be responsible for managing the total cost of ownership of applications by planning and sponsoring maintenance, upgrade, and decommission activities. Supporting or leading the implementation and operation of new Supply Chain functionalities will be crucial, ensuring that these remain aligned with current and future business needs in terms of functionality and operational performance. Your position will require you to identify and pursue opportunities for improvements within the application estate, working closely with business teams and vendors to drive a reduction in problems and enhance overall service delivery. This role demands strong cross-functional experience and the ability to create positive alignment between various stakeholders in the organization, particularly in the context of Kinaxis technologies and supply chain operations.
