About The Position
The Kiln/Furnace Technician I position is responsible for maintaining kiln performance through accurate firing operations, maintenance, and the loading and unloading of kilns and/or furnaces. This role involves performing and documenting kiln and furnace operations, ensuring efficient use of kiln capacity, and addressing any issues that arise during the firing process. The technician will work under moderate supervision and is expected to follow established procedures to maintain safety and quality standards in advanced ceramics manufacturing.
