About The Position

A Kiln A Operator will operate different Kilns and perfom required test analysis to meet production and quality requirements in accordance with work instructions, quality policies and other documentation to ensure that customer orders are completed on time and meeting the highest standards of quality consistent with Saft Excellence System goals and objectives.

Requirements

• High school education or GED required
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum six months of chemical manufacturing experience (Preferred)
• Certified Manufacturing Specialist Course (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and envirnomental rules and procdures
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions (MFGs, SOEs, OMS, E- & Q- documents
• Recognize proper material and reference numbers and record data
• Ability to check quality parameters and record data
• Ability to rexognize out of specification material and react accordingly
• Perform mathematics oprations on a calculator
