About The Position

KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident, high-character kids. We do this in weekly, 45 minute developmentally-appropriate classes. Each class includes unique science-based fitness games led by highly trained, kid-focused coaches. Joining a workplace where you can be part of a fun, energetic and professional team that loves what they do! Coaching and mentoring children to make an impact on their lives! Teaching parents how to make their children smarter, stronger and more confident! We are looking for individuals with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages walking - 11 years old. The KidStrong Coach focuses on coaching children on cognitive, physical and character development that stems from evolving weekly curriculum. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind KidStrong curriculum. Our classes run weekdays 9am-11am and evenings until 7pm. On weekends we start at 9AM and run through lunch time. There's additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party and camp coaching hours.

Requirements

Must be 17 or older
Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
CPR certified
Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter who just gets a job done

Candidate must be available to work the some or all of the following shifts to be considered: - Weekday evenings: 3:45pm-7:30pm - Saturday: 8:45am-1:30pm, 3:30-5:30pm (as needed for parties), 5:30pm-7:30pm (as needed for parties) - Sunday: 8:45am-1:15

Nice To Haves

Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred
