About The Position

At FFC, you'll work alongside some of the top fitness professionals in the industry, helping clients reach their full potential. Position: Kids Swim Instructor You'll provide expert guidance on water safety and swim techniques, focusing on the four main strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and elementary backstroke. You'll have an opportunity to meet and work with new FFC members to further develop the swim program (including private clients) Work with children ranging from infants to teenagers, helping them develop essential swim skills. (Note: This role does not involve adult swim instruction.) FFC offers a robust training program mandatory for all employees to attend. The training includes multiple hospitality courses to be completed during your first 90 days. Your manager will go over your role specific training and dates upon hire. Requirements

  • Must be CPR/First Aid certified

Responsibilities

  • Teach swim classes and private lessons in line with our high standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on water safety and swim techniques, focusing on the four main strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and elementary backstroke.
  • Build relationships with parents and participants, discussing progress and expectations to ensure a positive experience.
  • Meet and work with new FFC members to further develop the swim program (including private clients)
  • Work with children ranging from infants to teenagers, helping them develop essential swim skills.
  • Ensure the pool area is clean, safe, and inviting for members, guests, and co-workers.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled class time.
  • Begin and conclude classes according to the schedule.
  • Teach classes as assigned by the Swim Coordinator, delivering top-tier instruction and coaching to all attendees.
  • Accurately record class participation and gather feedback through class surveys to continually improve our programs.
