About The Position

The Kids Preschool Coordinator creates safe, welcoming, and well-organized experiences for families and children (Birth–PreK) by overseeing Preschool programming, environments, and volunteer support, while also managing Kids Check-In systems and hospitality processes under the direction of the Interim Kids Director.

Requirements

  • Active Difference Maker at Pantano Christian Church
  • Experience teaching in large and small group settings
  • Experience with Kids Ministry or Education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Office-related computer skills, including experience with common office software/programs and online applications
  • Ability to effectively utilize online communication, email and calendar tools
  • Ability to work productively without direct supervision
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with team members, volunteers, and other staff

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Mac and macOS a plus
  • Experience with Google Drive a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel a plus
  • Experience with “Orange” curriculum a plus
  • Experience with PCO or other database software a plus

Responsibilities

  • Organize, prepare, and edit curriculum and all necessary supplies for Birth–PreK classrooms
  • Lead and support Preschool Difference Makers through scheduling, training, and ongoing care
  • Oversee Check-In systems and processes to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient family experiences
  • Train Difference Makers on Preschool classroom expectations, safety procedures, and check-in technology
  • Organize supplies and set Preschool rooms and Check-In stations for Thursday and Sunday use
  • Maintain safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate Preschool learning environments
  • Assist with Kids Check-In hospitality, including greeting families and resolving check-in issues
  • Coordinate with Kids Team for Kids Events, Preschool programming needs, and Check-In support
  • Attend weekly 1:1, team and staff meetings
  • Adhere to all church policies and procedures
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned
  • Record Kids attendance numbers
  • Record First Time Guest information
  • Work during Kids Events and Camps (including Preschool-specific elements)
  • Work assigned duties during “All Hands On Deck” events such as Christmas and Easter services
  • Other duties as assigned
