About The Position

The position involves building and overseeing the CCV Kids ministry team, ensuring that leaders and rooms are prepared for weekend services. The role includes managing volunteer onboarding and training, connecting with families, and casting vision to parents about available resources for leading their kids in biblical conversations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive environment, executing programs and curriculums, and facilitating ongoing training for volunteers. Daily communication with the Lead Kids Pastor is essential to meet the ministry's goals.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of CCV
• Have been baptized by immersion and actively pursuing a Christ-centered life
• Regularly engage in CCV's weekend services and personal worship
• Dedicate to serving others within CCV and the broader community
• Commit to coaching and guiding others in their Next Steps
• Tithe 10% of income to CCV as an expression of faith and stewardship
• Actively participate in a CCV Group for spiritual growth and connection
• Experience working with youth and volunteers preferred
• Working knowledge of the business of the church and procedures is helpful
• Skilled in using a database for volunteer information, recruiting, and attendance

• A degree or training in a related field or ministry proven experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Build a CCV Kids ministry team
• Ensure leaders and rooms are set up and ready to serve on the weekends
• Oversee volunteer onboarding and training, including appropriate placement of volunteers
• Identify and recruit individuals into the ministry following safety protocols
• Connect with families new to the Church and existing families
• Cast vision to parents regarding resources for leading kids in biblical conversations
• Ensure 'CCV Kids How To Win' is at optimal level
• Create a fun, engaging, and healthy CCV Kids ministry
• Maintain a positive CCV Kids environment to establish excellence in the ministry
• Communicate daily with the Lead Kids Pastor
• Work with the Lead Kids Pastor to help reach all listed goals required
• Lead day-to-day operations of the ministry
• Execute CCV Kids programs and curriculums, systems, and processes
• Facilitate ongoing training and coaching for volunteers
• Exemplify a high level of passion about sharing CCV Kids vision with the community
