About The Position

Woodside Bible Church is seeking a passionate and relational leader to serve as Woodside Kids Director at our Farmington Hills Campus. This role provides vision, leadership, and oversight for Kids Ministry, partnering with parents to help children discover and embrace a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. The Director builds and leads healthy volunteer teams, implements the church-wide Kids Ministry strategy, and creates a welcoming, Christ-centered environment for children and families. The ideal candidate is a strong team builder and communicator with a heart for families and a passion for children’s ministry. This individual is organized, collaborative, and able to lead multiple areas of ministry with excellence. Responsibilities include leading weekend services and special events, developing and supporting volunteers, managing ministry operations and budget, and fostering meaningful relationships with children, parents, and the broader campus community. Qualified candidates will have at least two years of experience in children’s ministry (Woodside Kids experience preferred), a bachelor’s degree (preferred), and demonstrated spiritual maturity with a strong commitment to the mission of Woodside Bible Church. Active participation in the life of the church, including regular worship attendance and engagement in community, is expected. This is a part-time, 25 hours per week, hourly, non-exempt position and requires membership at the Woodside Farmington Hills Campus. For additional details, please see the job description.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in children’s ministry
  • Demonstrated spiritual maturity with a strong commitment to the mission of Woodside Bible Church
  • Active participation in the life of the church, including regular worship attendance and engagement in community
  • Membership at the Woodside Farmington Hills Campus
