About The Position

Kids Kollege instructors work for the Community Learning Center to provide life enriching, quality instruction to youth in our community. Each summer San Juan College’s Kids Kollege brings hundreds of 4 to 15 year old's to the San Juan College campus and other locations—and the success of the program depends on high quality instructors who want to share engaging, life enriching topics for kids. Consider sharing your expertise with Kids Kollege this summer in arts, cooking, dance, science, sports or one of many other topics. Kids Kollege instructors are responsible for course development, classroom management, classroom safety and high quality instruction. Instructors are expected to assist with marketing their classes, with approval for all marketing from the Community Learning Center Director. The minimum commitment for teaching is only one week at a time. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic instructors who have classroom experience. Instructors are expected to have expertise in the area they wish to teach and teaching experience. Kids Kollege Instructors need to submit specific class proposals for each session.
