About The Position

The Kids In-Motion Director will work with 3–4-year-olds in the Kids In-Motion preschool program. This is a part-time position working 25 to 29 hours a week at the Park West Program Building. The director will develop and implement curriculum and activities in daily structured activities, including educational table work, arts and crafts, circle time and set up and clean-up for activities. Will supervise activities and children in a recreational setting. The program runs August through May and runs in accordance with the Charleston County School District calendar.

Requirements

• High school graduate and 3-5 years of related work experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
• Selected candidate will be certified in CPR/First Aid and complete Darkness to Light training
• All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of drug screen and various background investigations which may include criminal history, driving record, credit report, employment history, education verification, and personal references.
