About The Position

My Gym Commack is a new location soon to open in New York and we are looking for a founding team member! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Director to support our children’s fitness programs. In this role, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, manage staff, and help create an engaging environment for children and their families. Your contributions will ensure high-quality fitness instruction while promoting a positive and supportive community.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with young children in an organized play setting
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Strong willingness to collaborate and contribute as a dedicated team player
• Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with staff, parents, and guests

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the center, including staff training and effective communication with parents
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns
• Develop and implement strategies to boost enrollment and retain current families
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff at all times
