You’ll engage children in play-based and age-appropriate activities while their parents enjoy the Y’s facilities. Requirements
- Experience supervising children in play or structured settings
- Understanding of child development from infancy through elementary school
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide positive guidance
- Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging children in age-appropriate activities
- Empathy, patience, and a team-oriented mindset
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs
- Must be able to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected situations, both physically and mentally
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children or youth is preferred
