YSS is looking for Preschool Program Assistant to join our Kids Club team. We're looking for someone who is energetic, fun, and able to naturally connect with kids , while staying reliable, patient, and attentive. As a Program Assistant, you’ll bring energy, structure, and care to each day—supervising kids, leading activities, and keeping things running smoothly alongside staff and volunteers. What you'll do: Lead before- and after-school programs and full-day activities during breaks, keeping kids active and engaged. Supervise and engaging kids in daily activities. Help plan and lead fun, educational, and recreational programs. Prepare and serving healthy snacks and meals. Keep spaces clean and organized. Build positive connections with staff, parents, and volunteers. Record attendance, behavior, and progress. Please know this is not a complete list of the position's responsibilities. Requirements

At least 16 years old
CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 3 months)
Enjoy working with children

Nice To Haves

Experience caring for or supervising children
Able to connect with kids
Enthusiastic and excited to come to work daily
Comfortable assisting with homework
Reliable transportation and punctual
Bilingual (especially Spanish) a plus.
